hunza-baltit-fort.view
I have just started working on blogs related to beautiful places and the first thing I could think of to write about was this Gilgit-Baltistan. And this laid the foundation of this Google blogger website on which you are reading this article right now.

Gilgit-Baltistan or also called by the name Northern Areas of Pakistan which lies to the northern most area of Pakistan is an administrative province which connects to the most crucial territories such as Azad Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Afghanistan, and China. Gilgit-Baltistan, in my opinion, is a sample of heaven on earth from Allah. The reasons for which are the beautiful grassy mountains, flowing rivers and all the things from nature that could be a part of God's heaven are sampled beautifully in this place of Pakistan. There will be a lot of information about the place on this Google website but for being starters, I decided to let you give some insight on its history. So, let's begin.

History of Gilgit-Baltistan.

History is such a vast subject and if you start writing about some thing's history then you can write books on it but since we are bound by the limited words here, I shall tell you from the time its became a part of Pakistan and some time before that.

Prior to the freedom of Pakistan and the allotment of India, Maharaja Hari Singh, the Hindu Dogra leader of Jammu, extended his guideline to Gilgit and Baltistan with the assistance of British. After WW II British impact began declining. English in spite of the decrease in its tenet, took care of the circumstance shrewdly and gave two choices to the states in British Raj under their principle to join any of the two developing states, India, and Pakistan. Exploiting the circumstance the masses of Gilgit-Baltistan began revolting, the general population of Ghizer was first to raise the banner of the insurgency, and step by step the masses of the whole locale resisted the tenet of Maharaja, again British assumed an imperative part in the war of freedom of Gilgit-Baltistan. Now this was all before it became a part of Pakistan. Keep reading to know under which conditions does it exist with Pakistan now.

Administration of Pakistan set up Gilgit Agency and Baltistan Agency. In 1970 Northern zones chamber set up by Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Gilgit-Baltistan was specifically administrated by the government and it was called FANA(Federal administrated northern regions). In 1963, Pakistan surrendered a piece of Hunza-Gilgit called Roskam and the Shaksgam Valley of Baltistan district to the China pending settlement of the argument about Kashmir.

This surrendered zone is otherwise called the Trans-Karakoram Tract. The Pakistani parts of Kashmir toward the north and west of the truce line built up toward the end of the Indo-Pakistani War of 1947 or the Line of Control as it later came to be called, were partitioned into the Northern Areas in the north and the Pakistani condition of Azad Kashmir in the south. The name "Northern Areas" was initially utilized by the United Nations to allude toward the northern zones of Kashmir.
